Gillian Palmer
Founder, The Finance Hub | MD, Lending Made Simple
With over 25 years of experience building, growing, and selling businesses, I understand what it takes to turn ambition into action. I founded The Finance Hub and run Lending Made Simple to help business owners access clear, honest advice and the right funding—without the jargon or the hard sell.
I’m all about straightforward, flexible solutions that work in the real world. Whether it’s a business loan, cashflow support, or a strategic sounding board, I’m here to connect you with what you need—and the right people to help.
People often recognise me by my signature red and my personal approach. I love building real relationships and being someone my clients can count on.
Outside of work, I’m usually out walking Suzie (my equally red-spirited dog), catching up with friends over brunch, or wandering through Kew Gardens with my son Harvey, a horticulturist with a passion for the tropical and architectural.
In 2023, I celebrated turning 50 by running two half marathons for West Kent Mind—a charity close to my heart. That same energy drives everything I do.

With over 13 years of experience creating calm, organised, and welcoming workplaces, I joined The Finance Hub in 2024 and instantly knew it was the perfect fit. Originally from Slovakia, I now enjoy a peaceful family life in Tunbridge Wells with my three children and two cats. I bring a warm smile, a can-do attitude, and a passion for keeping everything running smoothly—always aiming to make clients and colleagues feel right at home.

Financial Administrator
I joined The Finance Hub in 2024, bringing a background that spans finance, marketing, and web development across both the UK and France. I love combining my technical skills with a passion for helping clients access the funding they need—simply and smoothly. Known for being thorough, reliable, and always ready to help, I’m proud to play a part in making the lending journey easier for everyone. Outside work, you’ll usually find me hiking somewhere beautiful—Madeira, Vietnam, and Madagascar are a few of my favourite adventures so far!

Chief Morale Officer
I joined The Finance Hub in December 2023 when I found my forever home with Gillian—and I’ve been keeping spirits high ever since! As Chief Morale Officer, I specialise in surprise Teams appearances, demanding well-timed walk breaks, and bringing joy to everyone I meet. I love muddy forest adventures, playing fetch, and soaking up all the ear scratches I can get. Pop in for a cuppa and a cuddle—I’ll be the one wagging by the door!
